Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Cassidy Counts is a recent graduate of Southern Methodist University (SMU) where she earned a BFA in Dance Performance and a BBA in Accounting. She is a proud alumna of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (BTWHSPVA) where she graduated with high honor in dance. Cassidy has performed works by Paul Taylor, Jonathan Campbell, Dwight Rhoden, and Robert Battle, along with other artists.

In addition to performing, Cassidy enjoys creating work and sharing her artistic voice with the community. While in school, her choreographic works have been selected for student performances at both SMU and BTWHSPVA, respectively.
